I liked the book. I guess we all want to know the unknown. One warning though: I started following the author on youtube, and I came across a video where the author was advocating some weird teaching about Jesus not coming to earth anymore. If any of you know, there is this teaching going around that Jesus has already came for the second time (we just don't know about it for some weird reason). One of my relatives started believing that and fell into the old bondages, alcoholism, and drew away from God. So, I would research what this author really believes now and take his books with caution. I did not find anything weird though about seeing in the spirit, so have nothing against this particular book. One thing that I do not have a clear understanding about yet.
This is an easy to follow guidebook with exercises to help develop the various stages of being a "seer." If this is one of the gifts you receive from the Holy Spirit, it helps to understand that the gift is, as well as how to further develop it. Even if this isn't one of your gifts, it helps to explain about prophetic visions, and the spirit discernment, and many other things. I highly recommend it!

Loved this book. Filled with so much wisdom and first-hand knowledge. It was a definite delightful, informative God inspired look into the spirit-filled life of Seers. I was totally enthralled from beginning to end. The R.I.A. Exercises were so inspiring because they worked and I have journaled using the technique. This book answered a lot of questions about my gift and I know The Lord directed me to purchase and read.I will read over, over, and over again!
This book is awesome and He has the gift of impartation and you will get an impartation but if you don't want that don't read it lol cause you don't know what depth you getting it. Believe me but I wanted it so it is awesome.
Love this book for it's biblical based, foundational teaching of the gift of discerning of spirits. There is so much info out there that is under the category of Christianity, that should be labeled New Age. Nice to find info based on the Word of God. As the book states, todays churches do not really understand this gift, nor do they teach on it. I have a teenage son who has been seeing in the spirit realm since he was small. Since the church does not really teach on this topic I have turned to books to help him. This is one of the few books I have found so far that I feel is spiritually safe for him to read that will not lead him to New Age style teachings. I pray that more of God's true children will awaken to the call and teach the Word of God as it should be taught.
A dear friend I had known for 20 years said he thought the Lord wanted him to pray the spiritual awakening over me. Never had I heard this term but the Holy Spirit within me leapt and he prayed and released Isaiah 60: 1-5 'Arise and shine..."I had begun to tell him I wanted more of the Lord and was hungry but did not know my purpose in life. He had asked what I had been seeing from the Jesus more of lately. Knowing next to nothing about the prophetic, visions, nor prophecy because I thought that only happened in the bible days, I shared with him what I had been seeing, not realizing they were called visions. He said the Lord spoke to him to lend me his copy of 'The Seer' by Jonathan Welton, followed by the proclamation of my spirit to be awakened (birthed) then go read the book. I promise you nor am I exaggerating, after reading five pages into the book, something happened and much of my destiny was revealed to me as a 'SEER'. It was as if I began viewing a large movie screen of my future right before my eyes while tears poured forth. My friend later said that he had never seen the awakening come alive as fast as it did in me. He explained it being like a 'rocket ship blasting off.' Although I awakened quickly, I believe God is also awakening people all over the world in an expedited likeness. Time is so short that He needs his army of warriors to violently storm heaven; so His purpose is brought forth because the Kingdom of Heaven is being brought down through us. I encourage you to seek God earnestly and intimately and then He will begin opening up your purposes of life. I was so hungry for Jesus and if you first seek the person of Jesus, you will find Him. If you earnestly seek your rightful gifts, you will receive and this book may be just what you need as your tool needed to open up the gift of 'seeing.' There are practical applications that instruct you so you do feel you are truly lead from the depths of Jonathan Welton's heart to share with you, Jesus. This is a love that is unmistakable! This is a pure love and one he desires to impart to you in this wonderful gift from the Lord and Savior. I do not know nor have ever sat under the teaching of Jonathan but I long to meet him and will in heaven for he is invited to dine with me at my table in my establishment in Heaven in days to come. I loved this book not just because the chapters were short and to the point, but that there was an activation exercise at the end of each chapter. Even though this book's title mentions the School of Seers it ican be for all Christians. The book is more geared towards Seers, but the activation exercises are good for anyone to do. Some are simple prayers to become more intimate with God. Others could be asking God for a revelation, then an interpretaion of the revelation, and finally an application of the revelation. The purpose of the book is to get us closer to or connect better with God.
