I have a softcover copy of a previous edition... and I love it so well, I ordered this updated hardback edition. It belongs in every sailors library.

good boat info

Experience cruising sailor with good suggestions on boat upgrades. One of the better books I have read. Gives details on his own personal experiences, rather than generalized suggestions.

Unfortunately it is a good book but if you want to find something specific it is nearly impossible. Chapters are put in order in a strange way so that information for the same matter is "scattered" all over the book.

Well organized, lots of current information and common sense solutions.

Definitely worth reading if you own a sailboat.
