I ended up having to Google the concepts more than I used this book. I don't think this is very well written
Excellent book. Have now read it in its entirety and appreciate tthe clarity of presentation and its integration of international macro. A must read for anyone interested in learning macroeconomics at the introductory level.
Old textbook to study for CLEP exam.
I've read other macro texts and I prefer this one the best. There are a lot of real life examples of economics that relate to today's world (which helps in understanding) and the explanations in the text also serve to be very helpful as well. It's a little long winded, and somewhat repetitive, but believe it or not, I've found that this is very very helpful for one's understanding of the material. Plus it starts out very basic, allowing anyone to learn a basic understanding of how our modern economy, whether it be for a class or on their own.
Great examples and callout boxes, and summations of chapters. A few too many esoteric idealized graphs for me, but I guess that comes with the realm.
Decent textbook but the chapters are a bit repetitive. Definitely look at the chapter summaries before an exam.
not very helping book. I end up self study via Youtube and only use it for 2 chapters and never touch it again.
This was a school book I needed. If I were to purchase this book through my school bookstore it was too expensive so I came to Amazon and noticed that the same book was for sale 75% off!!! Awesome deal...same material, great condition, great buy!
