Prague's impassive residents seemed disillusioned with Gorbachev, yet relatively well-off and inured to the self-perpetuating, corrupt Czech government. The book gave me an historic framework....but not a contemporary sense of these great cities.Is just outdated. A new edition might be of interest...but I doubt many travellers would actually appreciate thisapproach. sorry.....
