Not enough detail for navigating through cities or countryside! The midsize atlas seemed like a good idea since the larger ones can be unwieldy in the car but I instantly regretted purchasing it upon inspection. I definitely recommend the larger versions unless you're planning an interstate only trip. On a recent vacation, many of the smaller state routes that my GPS was recommending weren't on the atlas. It doesn't look like city detail would be much better.
I already have a Full Scale, Large Print map but I wanted something smaller to carry with me on my motorcycle. Anyway, I buy Rand Mcnally Maps every couple years or so and have for the past 30 years or so. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY A BIGGER MAP!! This map is about worthless. See Pic, the picture is ALL OF MICHIGAN that you’ll see. Very few roads and towns listed.
I like the size of this Atlas. It is not so big it is difficult to carry on trips. As another reviewer said, the detail is sometimes small and older people such as myself might find a magnifying glass helpful.
I love this thing. The bigger one is too big for looking at in the car. This one is easier. No spiral binding makes it simple to tuck away. Perfect accessory in conjunction with other nav and/or GPS info!
I am an old-school map user, and replace this atlas every few years. I always like to know where I am and how much further we need to go, especially on road trips. (I mostly use this for the Southestern US.) The mid-size is perfect for the car, but as useful for multi-state planning.
This atlas arrived quickly and in very good condition. I recommend the seller to others. The atlas is a bit smaller than I'd expected, even though I knew it was a mid sized product. I have no complaints, but may need to buy a full sized atlas for road trips.
Wanted a atlas incase of emergency. This will work.
I used this atlas to travel around the American west. It did not give me the information I needed except for the actual road route number.
